Graduation Requirements
PhD program; The course consists of a qualifying exam, a thesis proposal, thesis work and the thesis defense exam. Students admitted to the doctoral program with a master's degree must take at least 7 courses during the course period (one of which includes scientific research techniques, research and publication ethics, if they have not taken them in graduate programs before). with at least 60 ECTS courses, including a seminar course and Thesis Advisory course, 30 ECTS doctoral qualification, 30 ECTS thesis proposal, 25 ECTS thesis study taken in at least 4 semesters of thesis period, and 5 ECTS specialization courses. must take at least 240 ECTS (maximum 360 ECTS). For students admitted with a bachelor's degree, at least 14 courses (one of which is a course that includes scientific research techniques, research and publication ethics), a seminar course and a Thesis Advisory course, which corresponds to at least 120 ECTS, 30 ECTS must take at least 300 ECTS (maximum 420 ECTS), including doctoral qualification, 30 ECTS thesis proposal, 25 ECTS thesis work taken in at least 4 semesters, and 5 ECTS specialization courses. The student can take a maximum of 45 ECTS courses in one semester. Provided that he is successful in the thesis defense and meets the other conditions, the student who submits at least three bound copies of the doctoral thesis to the relevant institute within one month from the date of the thesis defense exam and whose thesis is found appropriate in terms of form. qualifies for a doctoral degree.
